Welcome to New England's Whitford House Country Inn
Three spacious bedrooms within the main house, and a private, romantic guest house a few steps away, assure a peaceful night's sleep. Each room has a full private bath and lovely views. Original artwork and fresh cut flowers from the Inn's gardens enhance the ambience. Rates include full breakfasts served in the dining room at the guests' leisure. At the Whitford House we are committed to supporting local farmers, therefore, typical breakfast menus offer fresh fruits, yogurt, the Inn's famous homemade granola, and specialties, such as Belgian waffles, eggs Florentine, or French crepes created from the freshest ingredients. In the afternoon complimentary hors d'oeuvres and refreshments are served on the shaded veranda, the sunny deck, or in front of a glowing fire.
Please note: As of September 1, 2010, a $25.00 rate increase per night for each of the Whitford House accommodations will take effect.
Rates for the rooms which were confirmed before August 1st for dates following September 1, 2010 will not be affected by the change. The charge of $25.00 per accommodation per night will continue to be included during foliage season (September 20 - October 20), on special Middlebury weekends, and on holidays.
Room Rates for double occupancy are $125-$275. (will be $150 - $300)

The First Floor Room
The first floor corner room,
shaded by a 150 year old oak,
has a four-poster double bed, a private bath with shower,
and views to the east and to the south.

The South Bedroom
The south room, located on the second floor,
features views of the Inn's spreading oak tree,
a king
or twin beds, and a full private bath with shower and claw foot tub.
The rate is $150 - $175 per night.

The north room, on the Inn's second floor,
has a king bed, full private bath with shower and claw foot tub, and a broad vista
of meadows and the Adirondack range.

The Guest House
The guest house, with magnificent views from every room, is set just a few paces
from the main house ensuring your ultimate privacy. A tastefully furnished sitting room, with a
queen-size sofa bed, adjoins the spacious bedroom with its king bed. The connecting full bath has
a radiant-heated slate floor. A brick patio off the sitting room offers a perfect setting to watch
the sunset over the Adirondacks while enjoying an evening beverage.
The rate is
$250 - $275 per night, double occupancy.*
Each additional guest is $25.00 per night.*

Deposits and Cancellation policies:
A deposit by check or credit card number for the first night confirms a reservation. If a deposit is not received within ten days, the reservation may be canceled. Refunds will be granted when cancellations are made two weeks prior to the scheduled arrival.
Check In/Out:
Check-in time is 1:00PM. Check-out time is 11:00AM.
Pets:
$10 per night, welcome on a limited basis. Reservation must be discussed before confirmation. Guests traveling with a pet are required to reserve the guest house. The Inn has one resident beagle, a cat and three sheep.
Payment:
Cash, check, MasterCard, Visa and Traveller's Checks are accepted.
