The staff of TheWhitford House Inn is pleased to host special events in the beautifully restored farmhouse and on the spacious lawns overlooking the Adirondack Mountain range.  Located halfway between Middlebury and Vergennes, Vermont, the Inn offers an idyllic location in the Champlain Valley for parties of up to 50 in the main house, and up to 150 on the grounds.  For large parties the staff is happy to arrange for tents for dining and dancing on the lawn and assist with suggestions for catering, beverages, entertainment, flowers and photographers.

To assure your privacy, the Innkeepers require booking of the entire Inn for the night prior to, and the night of the event.  Inn rental includes the guest house with a king bedroom, private bath, and a separate sitting room with a queen-size sofa bed.  The main house provides three bedrooms, including a double room with private bath and two king/twin bedrooms with private baths. 

The fee for the grounds with beautiful flower gardens, expansive lawns, and mowed fields is $2,500 for parties of 100 guests or more.  For smaller parties, the price varies according to the number of guests.  For this fee the Inn provides limited parking, water, and power.  The Inn requests that the wedding party arrange buses or vans to transport the majority of guests if the number exceeds 100.
